Reflection:
In the last lesson, our class was divided into groups of 3 or 4 to start our ad project.I was then in a group with 3 of my classmates which are Imaan, Anishka and Rania.We first started by choosing which product we should make our about, so then we decided to do it on ASA's.After that, we went downstairs to take pictures of images that we would use in our ad to show the different activities.Then we recorded the background music that we will be putting in our ad.Next, we started forming our ad by adding some of the images we took of the activity examples, we did this on the software iMovie which is a software provided on only apple products.Next, after that we decided what we were going to do in our next lesson, we decided to finish recording the video and finalize it by next week.What I think went well in the work we have done until now is the way we were able to find appropriate background music and appropriate images for our ad.What I think could have been better was the way we used video editing in iMovie as we were not very familiar with how to use it.To conclude I think we have started well and I hope that we will be able to successfully accomplish this project, other than that I believe that I have learned a lot of new skills from the beginning, for example, making a youtube video into a mp3, uploading images to iMovie, adding text to the video and lastly adding music to the video.

Peer evaluation
Reflection:
Here is my peer evaluation from my peer Imaan.According to the table above and the peer evaluation I think that I have done a good job overall as my total mark was a 15 out of 18 which I think shows that I have done a good job in my project.The first reason I believe I have done an overall good job is, first of all, I have received a grade of 3 in terms of originality which means that I have done a very good job and was able to be completely original in my project.Next, I believe that I have done a good job in creativity as, I received a 2 but, I could have improved and been a little bit more creative in my scratch and in the story.Also in backgrounds, I got a 2 which shows that I have done well but needed to put a little more effort in terms of backgrounds and could have done it in a better manner.In terms of sprites, I managed to receive 3 which shows that I have accomplished this part of my project in a very good manner.Meanwhile, for scripts and programming blocks I got 3 which shows that I have performed this part of my project in the correct and good manner.Lastly, in terms of purpose and the project, I believe that I could have improved and accomplished this part in a much better way and could have really improved on it.To conclude I think that this peer evaluation is very good and I have done a very good job in my project but could have improved one certain fields in the project.

Story scratch
Reflection:
So above as you can see is my story scratch, this scratch is basically a story based on one of my main hobbies which is reading.The scratch talks about a story I have created based on reading, the story talks about a girl which went and borrowed a book she believed that it was totally usual, little did she know it was not a regular book but was extremely unusual.Before she borrowed the book the librarian kept on warning her about borrowing the book but she never listened and borrowed it.Later in the day she started reading it and night time came she then got tired and decided to go and sleep.During the night plants and roses started growing out of the book and onto the girl suffocating during her sleep and dragging her into the book(the reason it happened was it was a scene in the book that she was then dragged into.In the morning, she then disappeared and above the bed it was written: SHE WAS WARNED in a bold handwriting in a red color.What I think went well in this assessment was during the process when I was able to use my creativity and think of a story to create from scratch but also, when I used different categories in scratch during the creation to improve my scratch through the process of creating it.However, in my perspective I think what didn't go well was when I struggled in the process as I disnt really know how to use everything from scratch and how to do certain things using scratch so, I overcame my struggles by inquiring certain peers in my class for help, but I also researched independently when I struggled during the process.To conclude I have learned a lot during this project like new categories on scratch and new ways of using scratch also, I think it was very enjoyable to do and was very beneficial for my general digital design knowledge.Also, I think after this experience I will be able to improve much more in my next scratch experience in the future.To use the scratch you first have to press the green flag and then wait for the sprite to finfish speaking, next press the space until I finish my last recording and after I am done press a for the finish.

Term 3- Developing Ideas Criterion B
Here is my first draft:
Reflection
My project is a story scratch so the first step is to think of 1 idea and draw it as a draft.So, my first idea for my story is about a girl that borrowed an interesting book and then when she left it open and slept in the night the next morning all that was left on the bed were leaves that came out of the book and on the bed it was written in red '' she was warned '' and the girl was not there. The way I thought of this idea was because I remembered how I wrote it when I was young si I decided to use it as my idea for a story.Until now I have just started the process for creating the actual project which is to make a scratch that tells my story.I think my first design is very interesting and is very good because I think it is a quite innovative type of story as it is not a story that you hear about every now and then,however, I think in my next design I can improve it a little bit more in terms of creativeness and in terms of art digitally but also in terms of drawing.To conclude I think my first draft is very good and innovative but I will attempt to improve in my next draft to make the story a little bit better next time.

This is my second draft,in this draft I improved the same story I illustrated in the first draft by summarizing it and making it shorter as it was too long in the first draft.Until now I am in the second step of the whole project which is improving on the first draft and then editing it by drawing a second draft to improve the story and the first draft in general.The reason I chose to do so was because I wanted to make my scratch short and interesting rather than making it very long for no reason .I think what went very successful during this process was when I thought of an idea of a way to improve it then drew the actual draft with not too many struggles ,another thing that I think went very well when I made the second draft was the way I colored the draft to visualize and give a little detail about the story but also to help me create the story from scratch at the end of the project .However I think a way I can improve for the next time is maybe if I showed a little more detail in the characters and the actual story like I did in the first draft but in the same time not to make it way too long to make it detailed.To conclude I am very proud of the assignment and the way I improved my first draft but I will still try to improve in the next time.

Here is an image of my third draft.Until now I am in the third step of this project which is to make the third draft for the story I will be creating from scratch at the end of this project.In my third draft I decided to make a different idea for my story,I decided to make it about 2 girls that find a treasure box full of gold but then find out all that gold was fake and it was just chocolate the whole time.The reason I chose to do so was because I wanted to have the option to choose from 2 stories when it comes to creating my story from scratch.What I believe went well during the process of making the draft was being able to think of a new idea for a story to do for my scratch projects but also putting some detail into the story and making it nice and short so it does not become too long.However, I think something I can improve on for next time is that maybe I can try to add some more details in the draft so I can easily be able to create the same story I drew into the format of a story from scratch where I will show the story digitally.Even though I had 1 struggle I think it was very easy to accomplish and wasn't that difficult.To conclude I think I have done really well in this draft,I also think that this assignment was very enjoyable but also very beneficial for me I will also still try to improve next time.
Final Reflection
After analyzing and checking all 3 of my drafts I have decided to choose 1 of them to do my scratch on, the one that I have chosen is the first draft.The reason I have chosen this draft is that I believe even though it is the longest one and is the same story as my second draft I think it is the most interesting out of all 3 of them and also the most one which is amusing and fun out of all 3 of the drafts.The reason I believe the first one is the most interesting is that the second is the same story but it is much shorter so it is not very detailed which is something that my first draft contains also I think that it is more interesting and unique because in the second draft it was short so I didn't really think it would be as enjoyable as the first draft and it might have been too short.Next, the reason I chose the first draft over the third draft was I think I didn't put much effort in thinking of that story for it to be better than the first since in the first one I put a lot of effort not in drawing it in detail and color but the actual story itself (as it was a story that I wrote in grade 3 then decided to make a scratch now) on the other hand I didn't really give as much effort as I did to the first rather than to the third one which is why I preferred the first one, on the other hand my third also had common flaws with my second on the third one wasn't that detailed too and was quite short and not that interesting or enjoyable like the second one.To conclude I think that I have done a good job in all my 3 drafts and have completed them well but I did a better job in my first draft which is why I have chosen to make it for my upcoming scratch project which will be to create this story using scratch programming.

The reason why I have chose this global context is because I really think that this represents my story based on scratch and I think it really shows the topic of my story.Other than that the reason I believe it represents my story is because this global context talks about investigating your personal and cultural perspective and your hobbies, feelings, cultures,beliefs etc.So the reason it represents it is because my story's main topic will be one of my hobbies which are reading and it talks about how a book affects the reader.I also think the global context relates to my story because my story also talks partially about a certain part of my identity and personality.So, to conclude I think that the global context really represents my story in detail as it is very relatable not to just my main topic as it talks about me and one of my personal topics but also about my whole scratch story in general, last but not least I think that this global context really summarizes my scratch, and that is why I have chosen this global context for my scratch.

My first ATL skill is Creative thinking, the reason I have chosen this ATL skill is because I think that through my process in creating my scratch I have used a lot of creativity to think about the stories and all the detail in it.For example, I believe that I have put a lot of effort and creativity in thinking of the details for the characters like their names their costumes their personalities their lines and several other details.Another thing where I think I used my detail in was his events of the story and also the settings for example the colors the drawings and several other details.My next ATL skill was information literacy, the reason I chose this ATL was because I really that during my process I really used the ATL Information literacy as before I did the scratch programming I had to research direction and how to use it but more importantly new ways to use scratch in my story.To conclude I think I have reasonably chosen my ATL skills and have used them appropriately during the process before using scratch but also during the process of creating my process

Introduction
In Term 3 we will be working on Scratch programming. This is creative computing and enables us to explore various sprites and commands in Scratch.
About Me
Reflection:
For my personal scratch, I couldn't really find an inspiration that matched what I wanted to do so instead I thought of my own idea for my personal scratch.So,to create my scratch I first chose a sprite that would match me as a girl,then I put what the scratch would say and then added sprites to match the text.After that, I added several sounds and motions to give an effect on the text and finally, I changed the setting of where the sprite was.For my personal scratch in the process, I had some difficulties putting the motions and text so to overcome them during class I asked some of the people in the class to help me.I think the most part I am proud of in my scratch is the part where I was able to successfully use the website to create my scratch and was able to use the different motions, controls, and sounds to create my scratch.I think after this experience next I would probably do a story or even create music from it.To conclude I believe this experience was very beneficial and educational and I really enjoyed it.Here is my Conversation Scratch:

Yesterday in the lesson we continued our scratch programming projects.So,during the lesson I learned more about how scratch works and I also learned a little bit more about the details of scratch, for example, the scripts,motions,costumes,backdrops,looks etc.Most importantly I learned how to successfully post my scratch by sharing it and then using its embed code.So after I finalized and edited my personal scratch in the lesson ms then introduced to us the next scratch project which was to make a conversation using 2 sprites then using the motions,scripts,costumes and backdrops to set the conversation.So after that, I started the new scratch project however I met some struggles in the process, for example, I had a difficulty when I had to make the first sprite talk and then change into the next costume and I also struggled with making both of the sprites switch to their costume at the same time while the backdrop changes and so own however I was then able to overcome it by some of the people in class.Generally, I think I did a good job on this project and I think that it is very good.

Final Evaluation Criteria B
For the tech fair me and my In group created 2 projects which were the Sawed off USB Cable and the Garageband playlist.In the beginning my group found it difficult to find a suitable idea for the Tech Fair and it needed a lot of time and effort to find one at the end.For this project I believe that I really used my knowledge of USB parts for being able to actually build our project however,for our Garageband playlist I was able to use my knowledge and skills about the software and the features in it,I also used my skills of being able to adjust the different tunes on the software and being able to adjust the frames to fit together,lastly I used my skills of being able to use loops to improve my tunes on the playlist.Second of all for our project I think we used our time wisely when we built our project but I think we could have used it in a wiser manner when it was time to research for tech fair projects to build since it took us quite a long time to find one the matched the standards.Next according to our process I think we followed the criteria and it’s standards when we were looking for a project and also during the time when we built and finalized the appearance and presentation of our project also when we developed and improved our projects.Other than that I believe that our team didn't really have a leader since we all worked together and delegated our work equally.For our project I don't think we had much problems but the only one that we met was when it was hard to work on the project during the holiday individually so we decided to contact each other and meet to be able to equally divide the work and collaborate together.Also I think that our projects are worthy because we created two tech fair projects they are not just tech related but it is also something we are very passionate about and we would like to share our learning and our experience. I really enjoyed the experience of creating a project but,if I had to do it again I think I would have used my time more wisely during the time we researched to get and create a more interesting and complicated project for the Tech Fair.To conclude I have learnt a lot through the experience and I think it was really enjoyable and beneficial towards my knowledge and skills about ICT and technology in general.Here are images to show the process.

ICT lesson reflection
Today in our ICT lesson our class worked o creating a flyer about a device/part of the computer.For today I worked with my partner Imaan,we created a flyer about The static wristband device .In the flyer we wrote about what it is and its function,what is it known as,the different types,what it consists of,an image for the wristband and a reference for where we got our information from.Other than that two of our groups were able to present their flyer in class.The first people that presented were Rania,Ward and Arthur,in their presentation, they talked about the RAM its function,definition and the purpose of the RAM.For their group I think that they presented their information in a clear and deep manner,the next person that presented was Karim he presented about the ROM and clearly described all its features in clear and very good detail.Now here is an image of the flyer that I worked on with Imaan during our class today:
