The next group that presented consisted of Harang and Imaan, their project was A Stop motion animation video. They had an option of using the software Monkey jam but instead for their project they decided to use the Stop motion animation software for their video.Their project is basically a video where they created models and took pictures of them in different perspectives to tell a story. The positive things about their presentation were that they used simple language to describe their project which made it easier for the audience to understand but they managed to also use technical vocabulary, however their presentation was very detailed and informative since the were able to describe the exact features of their project. The only thing I think they can improve is maybe if they talked with a louder voice and in a more clear manner but other than that I believe that their presentation was very good.Last but not least I think that they deserve to go to the tech fair because their project is different and unique than the other projects, I also think that it is very artistic and is very interesting and people would be interested to see it.So to conclude I think they have done an excellent job overall on their project and powerpoint.
After that the next group that presented consisted of Davide and Satchit.Their project is night lights shaped as fireflies that use flameless LED lights.Their presentation was very good overall since they were able to explain briefly how it works? What is it? the materials and their pros and cons.On the other hand, next time, they can improve on adding a little more information on the project and maybe putting a detailed description of the exact features of their project.Another thing they can improve is next time maybe they can talk in a louder and clearer manner. For this group, I believe that their project is not very worthy of the tech fair, the first reason I believe that is it is not very technological since it does not include technological features like any electronics or software.Second of all I don't think it is very interesting or innovative since it is something very simple and might not interest the audience in the tech fair.So to conclude even though they presented their project a powerpoint quite well their tech fair project does not include technological features wich makes it unworthy for the tech fair but overall they have done a good job.

Presentation reflections
Reflections
In our presentation, me and my group presented our two tech fair projects are: the sawed-off USB cable and our playlist that we created using Garageband. My group consisted of me, Rania and Kiyara. Our first project that we presented was the sawed-off USB cable it is basically a cable that we have reconstructed using the parts USB and has also been sawed off.We reconstructed it by using the parts of a USB to replace the part that connects the cable to the computer. Our second project was basically a software on iOS called Garageband that we then used to create a playlist of tunes using the instruments downloaded on the app.I believe that our presentation was very good since we clearly explained our projects and we also spoke in a loud manner for people to hear and understand.I believe our group can improve by being a little more serious in our presentation and a little more confident and less embarrassed. The last reason my group thinks that we should enter the tech fair is because we created two tech fair projects they are not just tech related but it is also something we are very passionate about and we would like to share our learning and our experience.
Today Adam presented his project to the class, his project was a website that he has created to raise awareness about the endangered pandas around the world. His project is basically a website that he has created using a software called Wix and has presented information on about Pandas. The positive things about Adam’s presentation was how he gave a convincing and persuasive justification to why he created his project second of all he also knew all about his project and was very informative while presenting.I believe the only way Adam can improve his presentation is to be a little more confident and not hesitate too much while presenting, for his website he can improve by maybe making it a little more activities to it and make it more informative, other than that he could have maybe added more information about how people can help saving them.Last but not least I think that it is not very worthy and did not show much technical work and effort but I thinking Adam has done a good job since it is only his first tech fair.
After that Christa and Jana presented their tech fair project which was a robotics car that they built. The project is basically a car that is composed of an engine that is connected by the remote using wires it is also surrounded by metal pieces, they then fixed wheels using screws so that it moves in a faster manner. The positive things about their presentation was that they clearly explained their project and the details of their project, they also explained the exact materials and structure of their car.Other than that I believe that they did not hesitate at all during their presentation. The only thing I think they can improve is maybe showing us a demonstration of how it is used or how the car moves.I think their project is worthy of entering the tech fair because it is very related to technology and is also very interesting and unique and I believe will enjoy seeing their project.

Presentation reflections
Today in our lesson our first presentation was done by Anishka. For her project, she has created a handy electronic mop.Her project was basically a small sized box that she has then put wheels from a remote control car in and allowed the wheels to stick out of the box so then it would be able to move on the ground and also clean at the same time. Anishka also used the remote control from the car so she can control it.The function of the object was to reach things and clean objects that you can not access through your house or in any other place. What I liked about her presentation was how she demonstrated it and then showed us the different features in it.The only point of improvement I have for her is to talk with a higher voice and explain in more detail.I believe her project is not very worthy of the tech fair since it doesn't show a lot of effort through it and not much of technical skills have been used in it but I believe that she has done a good job for trying individually.
In our lesson today the second presentation was done by Mohammed, Khaled and Matei. For the tech fair, their project was a game that they called Big Ship Defender.Their project was basically a game they have created to work on iOS and Android using softwares called Game Salad and Console Friend. The game was a ship that tried to defend itself against other ships by using the weapon that it has been provided, then the person has to use the arrows to move and the spacebar to use its weapon.I believe that their group presented really well but they can improve on explaining in a little more detailed and clear way so we can easily understand but other than that they have done a good job on their presentation.According to their presentation, I think their project is worthy of the tech fair because it applies and uses technology and it would also be interesting for the people to see.Sunday, 28 February 2016
Presentation reflecctions
Ashkan and Arthur
Today our first presentation was done by Ashkan and Arthur. For the tech fair, the group has created a pinball machine. The project was about a pinball game that used Lego Mindstorms and several technological materials.I believe the positive points about the presentation was that they have clearly explained their project and the different features in it.Last but not least the reason I believe their project should enter the tech fair was because I believe that it was very technologically related which made it very worthy of the tech fair.
Ananya and Riya

Our third presentation today was done by Ananya and Riya. For their project, they had a BB 8 robot. The project was about a droid that can move and has a petrol system and can also show a map of how far the robot goes.I believe that their presentation was good but can be better if they spoke loudly and in a more clear manner.Last but not least I believe the project is not very worthy to enter the tech fair because I feel that it is very simple to enter the tech fair and that they have not fully shown their technical skills through the project which makes spent make the project as worthy as it should be for the each fair.

Tech fair presentations reflections
Reflections
The first group was Ahmed Nicolai and Akahansh. The group created a programmed robot that they then called it the storm KI3N robot or the tech fair project. In their presentation they talked about the different hardware and software they used in their robot .afterthat they started discussing the different pros and cons of their project, for example, they said how it was an advantage that it was able to rover, grab objects, shoot bullets meanwhile they then talked to us about the way they programmed and built the robot using the materials they were given and using the programming app.Last but not least they demonstrated how their robot has worked and also explained the different things they have learnt during the process of their tech fair project.
The second presentation we had today was done by Karim, his project for the tech fair was a game that he had created using Stencyl and that he then called Noni and the apocalypse.First Karim talked to us about what was Stencyl and how was it used he also talked about how he created the game using the features in Stencyl. After that Karim demonstrated how the game works and the instructions for how to play it. Meanwhile, he then discussed the coding he used to create the game and then the unused features that are available on Stencyl that he did not use in his game.Last but not least Karim then talked to us about why he believed he should enter the tech fair and the different skills her learnt during the process of the creation of his tech fair project.

Tech Fair 2 Reflection
Reflection
The reason we chose to create a tune from garage band was because first we were unable to find an idea so we then thought of our passion and thought of collaborating it with music. After that, we searched for different technology products that collaborated with music and found the idea of creating a tune from Garage Band by using the tunes on the app. For the Tech Fair, we all decided to do a technical project that we are all passionate about, that is music. So we used Garage Band IOS to construct our own music in a technical way. We made a playlist including 5 songs. They are all of a different genre, some are hip hop, and some are calming and melodic. We all constructed this music together as a group. Overall, we have chosen this because of our passion and because it was a fitting easy project suitable for youth and teens. It is trendy and rather than using something like I tunes to buy music, why not use Garageband where you can produce your own music and enjoy it without any cost?
